"Finally, the bride has arrived and as all of you can see, she is a beautiful woman indeed... Please, a loud applause for her.... Yeey!" The MC was overjoyed and you could feel it in his voice.
Huo Dong stood there sweating and what about Huo Shen? He also stood there watching, after all, this wasn’t the girl he had said he would marry last night, and then, seeing his father hadn’t said anything, then he probably knew what was happening here. He slightly smirked watching them as clowns before a drama.
"We would like to request her parents to bring her up here on the platform... and then, they will personally hand her over to Huo Dong..." The music was switched off as Princess Aryana and her parents took the stairs and climbed up to the platform.
They walked closer and stood in front of Huo Dong, Huo Shen was standing just beside Huo Dong and Princess Aryana couldn’t stop her eyes from wandering over to Huo Shen’s face and perfect figure. This man was fine with still wearing his mask. Huo Dong was nothing compared to him.

She hurriedly averted her gaze back to Huo Dong before the guests noticed it, her getting engaged to Huo Dong would give her opportunities to come across Huo Shen since they would be living in the same house, but she didn’t know her thoughts were just dreams far away from the reality.
"Is there anyone who is against this engagement?" The MC curiously inquired while eying the crowd. If there was anyone against that Engagement from proceeding should raise his concern and why he/she didn’t wish the two of them to get engaged.
"Anyone else?" He inquired again but no one lifted his/her hand meaning, everyone present was okay with the engagement.
"All right then, the parents should hand over their daughter to their son-in-law acknowledging that from today onwards, she would be Huo Dong’s responsibility..." The MC announced as he placed the microphone to the side and all the instrument’s volume reduced giving time to her parents.
"Huo Dong, I hope you will take good care of our daughter and if there come a day you are tired of her, please return her to us... We aren’t tired of her yet." They held Princess Aryana’s hand and passed it over to Huo Dong’s stretched hand hoping they were doing something good.
"I will..." He humbly bowed his head while receiving that soft hand and held it in his palm. But how could he not have noticed Princess Aryana’s eyes that admired Huo Shen for a minute? Was she getting engaged over to him just to get closer to Huo Shen? It was never a new thing to him! So long as he was related to Huo Shen, it was gonna happen later or sooner.
