Rebirth; Illegitimate Daughter Turns Tides

Chapter 243; No! She won’t!

"We have been living in the streets for the last two years, but we are fine and we don’t steal! We promise that! We earn money by working hard." Just like innocent kids, they lifted their hands and vowed while gazing at Su Wei who was smiling at them believing in their words. They have never stolen or hurt anyone, they do their own things earn little money from working around the streets, and go back to the corner where they usually sleep.

Su Wei Wei carefully scrutinized them from their faces over to their feet that were stepping on the ground and wondered if they were abandoned or orphaned. Anything was possible.

"It’s good that you two are good-mannered kids..." Su Wei Wei commended them and their little faces lit up, they should be around eight or ten years old, and they looked disciplined and tamed even though they were street kids. They had a family at one time.

"Thank you, Miss...." It felt good to be trusted by a person you aren’t related to.

"Someone did say they have charity homes, where are they? Come forward..." Su Wei Wei loudly muttered gazing at the other citizens who had greeted her and now they were standing at the further end giving space for other people to greet her.

"I was the one who said!" A woman who couldn’t be aged more than thirty walked forward, she wasn’t that overly luxuriously dressed, but with that minimal dressing, she was still looking elegant.

"Oooh... What’s your name and where do you come from?" Su Wei Wei inquired while she ruffled their head hair as they stood there quietly.

"My name is Ling Fu, from Town Z, thirty kilometers away from here and you will find my charity home..." She humbly responded gazing at Su Wei Wei.

Su Wei Wei stretched her hand and signaled Ling Fu to shake hers, from her aura, Su Wei Wei could feel she was a kind person. Ling Fu stretched her hand out and shook Su Wei Wei’s before letting go. It wouldn’t take long for Su Wei Wei not to identify a good person from bad people.

"Is it a charity home where you assist them and later on take them to an orphanage or it’s an orphanage? Can you briefly explain what it is?" Su Wei Wei curiously inquired, she had to know before giving out promises of supporting and sponsoring.

"It’s a charity home, I still don’t have any capabilities of hosting several cases as I work with different kinds of scenarios, let’s say, women who are running away from Domestic Violence, we shelter them until they find their stability, kids who have also been abandoned or orphaned but we normally release them over to orphanages where they could find a more stable shelter and live a normal life... If we can have sponsors then I guess we would be able to accommodate them without giving them out to the orphanage homes...." She vividly explained what she does and from the narration, Su Wei Wei could tell how she hoped and wished, she could feel pain laced in between her words and it’s something she might have experienced one time.
