He jerked up stopping what he was doing and immediately got hold of Nanny Wei’s hand that was placed on the dining table before dragging her away. She got up and allowed him to drag her away while everyone else at the dining table was surprised and lifted their heads to look at them after hearing those screeching sounds wondering what was happening to him.
Nanny Wei was surprised that she was being dragged away but went along with him over back to the kitchen wondering what kind of emergency that came up just all of a sudden.
Su Wei Wei had just removed the pot and placed it aside serving some congee over to a bowl so that she could cool it down before giving it over to Huo Shen but she lifted her head only to see him back.
"What brought you back? It’s ready! You can wait at the dining table for a few more minutes before I bring it over." Su Wei Wei was surprised and gazed at them as one was leading while dragging the other over and getting into the kitchen.
"That kid there looks like she comes from a royal family, she has similar facial features to yours! She dies everything the same way you do." Huo Shen didn’t beat around the bush! He knew how those royal families were complicated and their mannerisms instilled from childhood, and if they were from one of them, then what could have led them to be like this?
"Royal family?" Nanny Wei immediately froze for a second while she stared at Tang Ning who was still having her soy milk, she hadn’t taken any interest in looking at that girl, but her mannerisms were totally different from any other normal girl.
"Hehe... Ah Shen, you are thinking too much, maybe they were brought up by their strict parents like that emulating those royal families’ etiquette! We don’t have any royal family in this country, how could they even get here..." Su Wei Wei lightly laughed brushing it off after hearing his suspicions.
She bent over to get a tablespoon that was in the lowest drawer, and the white jade necklace Tang Wei had given her, sprang out of her blouse hanging out.
She stood up after closing the drawer and placed the tablespoon on the countertop before holding the necklace to return it into her blouse hiding it! She hadn’t done any research on it and didn’t want it exposed until she knew where it originated from.
