"Mnnh..." Huo Qi could only hum and hope his perspective would change one day when he became a father. Huo Qi softly giggled picturing him changing a baby diaper and that with pieces of tissues stuck in his nose while doing it at a distance with only his hands stretched out and his mouth turned sideways.
"What are you laughing? What’s so funny?" He didn’t say anything funny to make someone laugh! These were all innocent and traumatized kids whose scars won’t go away any time soon and he was laughing?
"Master, do you like kids?" Huo Qi was curious and in his mind, he was dying to know the answer and instinctively his mouth spoke up what was in his mind.
"No!" He didn’t think twice before responding while smoothly shaking his head, he was never a fan of babies and didn’t have plans of having any.
"You don’t have any thoughts of having kids in the near future?" Huo Qi implored further surprised, he never knew apart from him being naive and clumsy in matters of kids, and he hated them on top of that.
"No!" He shook his head frowning, he hadn’t thought of that! But in any way, he wasn’t planning on having any.
"Do you hate kids?" Huo Qi still queried eying his boss, like what? How could he have plans of getting married but can’t think of having kids? Anyways, it was normal that not everyone liked kids.
"Not that I hate them, they are just too handful and a lot of responsibilities, of which I ain’t ready, and let’s not even begin with kids, I should get married first, then stay like ten years before thinking of kids... But let’s not go any further, I don’t want kids..." He honestly muttered like he was picturing having kids around him. It gave him goosebumps and that picture didn’t suit him at all.
No! It’s something he can’t tolerate, and by ten years, that’s like until he is in his late thirties and still, he doesn’t think he would have any patience to deal with kids.
"You don’t need to do anything! And Huo Zheng would take care of everything and even get a few nannies and there’s Nanny Wei who can assist too... You won’t do anything at all..." Huo Qi was inwardly cheered on him like he could do it! He can do it! He was pushing him to greater heights.
