Three men were occupying the front at the driver’s cabin. Gazing outside, she couldn’t see any vehicle driving through that driveway. This place looked like an isolated sub-highway that Vehicles or cars rarely went through and it was one way.
The Lorry was speeding and she needed to get over to the front, cabin, and take control of it, if not, they may never survive.
She held the handles outside at the door and checked the sides of the Lorry before checking at the top, she noticed the sides were safer to take than the top which meant they would notice her sooner through the side mirrors than moving through the top, but the top was more risky without handles to hold onto and she would easily slid down.
She exhaled loudly closing her eyes, maybe she would be able to save them and herself or they would perish here... She turned around and eyed the kids who were gazing at her hopefully.
She gazed forward into the highway as things spilled through the space she had created, and the men had to be keen to notice things were falling onto the ground.
"Would he remember? Does he know that I’m missing? Would he cry for me?" The only images that flushed through her mind were Huo Shen’s and she wondered if he truly cared about her.
After living an entire life, how could she not be afraid of abandonment? How could she not be afraid of not being cared for and recognized? She wanted to call him and tell him she liked him before this adventure but she didn’t have a mobile phone.
She wanted to shout out that she liked him but at the same time she feared alerting those men at the front, she had to be radical, she had more than sixty lives in her hand to save.
Was she going to regret her heroic acts? Was he going to blame her? "Sigh! Life is very unpredictable... We can only live for the moment..." With that, she climbed through the door over to the top part of the Lorry.
