They were seated in a way that they faced each other. They could see their entire family while the maids and other workers were stacked up in the other police van. The police officers who were seated at the bench seats closer to the door abruptly turned their heads over and gazed at the man. One of the police officers lifted his whip and roughly smacked him as it ran from his shoulders over to the lower part of his chest.

"Arrg!" He painfully growled as he tried to massage the area and alleviate the pain but it was impossible with his handcuffed hands. His eyes watered as he menacingly glared at the police officers with hatred.

He was already humiliated by getting arrested and made sure they handcuffed him, and now, they were beating him in front of the entire family. How dare he? If only eyes could eat someone.

The police officers glared at him coldly with those scary eyes showing him how fearless they were at the moment, and they could give him a thorough beating if he dared to misbehave in front of them.

They knew Huo Shen wouldn’t reprimand them, they were on duty and ’he was resisting arrest’, they would never lack excuses, furthermore, who would Huo Shen believe? Huo Shen also hated such kinds of men!

Did he think he had every right to beat a woman and he did that in front of the police officers? Did he think they would sit still and watch him misbehave just because she was his wife?

"You... You! This is against the law! Whatever you are doing is so wrong! I will sue you all for this mental torture! We are the Zhan family..." Zhan Zhu Bai was so frustrated and mad at this uniformed man! He could only threaten him with words.

His entire face was scowled up with anger but it was sweating from all the pain he was feeling.

"You can file your charges! But you should know and prepare yourself, maybe wherever you are headed to is your destined destination... You may never come out! You should think of how to placate those prisoners who would be your friends for the next several years!" The police officers retorted back glaring at him disgustingly. How dare he threaten them?

He should be worried about the unknown place they were headed to! He should be worried that it was Huo Shen’s command for them to be arrested! He could kill them without a care.
