Chapter 136; What’s the matter with you?
"What’s the matter with you all? Why do you all look so sombre? Did someone die? Are we mourning someone or something?" She lazily slumped down onto the couch roughly glaring at them her mouth puckered upward in annoyance. They were smelling of sad vibes from a distance and she didn’t want to be infested!
With the show of her fingers, she signalled them to take a step backwards keeping distance between them before she nonchalantly crossed her legs and hands around her chest waiting for them to speak up.
If only that old man could die! Those were the only good news she needed to hear of this early morning! And she would gladly celebrate.
"Speak up! Why are you looking at me like that? I’m no devil that would eat you up." She coldly grumbled getting up and strode over to the dining room smacking her lips in irritation. She was hungry and needed to fill her tummy before thinking of what to do next.
The maids hurriedly served her breakfast that had been left at the dining table still with their heads bowed, they didn’t utter a single and you could tell from their faces that they were afraid.
"Let me not ask for the third time! You better know the consequences !" This time her voice was cold and threatening! Did they think she didn’t have a say in this house just because that old man looked down on her and she was grounded? She needed answers and happy news would make her morning.
"Madam Wang Kang has died! That’s what we heard from the Wang family members that dropped by here a few minutes ago before going back over to the hospital! We don’t know if it’s true or not!" One of the maids hurriedly spoke up before rushing away into the kitchen.
They heard Wang Guo Zhen saying that but they don’t know how true his words were!
"Cough cough cough!" She choked on the cup of soy milk she was sipping. She gently placed the glass of soy milk back onto the table gazing at the maids as her eyes turned slightly red from coughing, "Did you say Wang Kang is dead? How can she die? What happened to her? Did she also commit suicide?"
