She settled down on the bed crying her eyes out when her mobile phone vibrated, she dragged her handbag closer and opened it before getting her mobile phone.
Seeing the familiar number calling her, she roughly wiped her tears away before receiving it, "Shan Shan, how is it? He has accepted?" An old aged voice echoed from the other end of the phone call seemingly in plight.
"I just got here and he accepted my request to spend a night here, i will have to talk to him tomorrow and try to convince him otherwise...." She calmed down trying to alleviate her sadness.
"All right, you have everything you need... Grandpa is waiting for your good news..." That voice from the other end remarked before hanging making Zhan Shan feel even more terrible, he didn't even ask what she had eaten, or how she was feeling. He didn't even greet her!
Her heart was overwhelmed with sadness tightly constricting and she gently caressed her chest, before she could put the phone down, another call came through her mobile phone.
She coughed several times before receiving the phone call, "Honey... " Her voice was at least smoother and you couldn't depict any emotions from it.
"I need the money you promised me, you haven't sent it to me yet, what are you waiting for?" That voice from the other end was worried and in a hurry, you could hear the rush and need for the money he was asking for.
