Chapter 12; What’s the hurry for?
"I want you to see her and tell me if you can cure her poison before me... And if it's not possible, it will be okay, you will still have your freedom...." Huo Shen hoarsely mumbled caressing his face mask. He didn't mind waiting, he had been looking for a cure for several years, and waiting for a few more days wasn't gonna kill him.
" What's the hurry for? And for me to cure her... Then we have to get engaged first... I can treat you for free but not her..." She snapped her eyes open gazing into his. He froze for a minute, getting engaged. She was just sixteen, he knew nothing about her,
"Miss...."
Lawyer Tang and Huo Qi exclaimed unisonly glaring at her. Wasn't she asking for too much? Did she want their master to give up something so precious?
" No, state another prize! Anything else can do...." Huo Shen declined gazing outside through the tinted windows into the highway.
"All right, what do you think can match up to you? How much money can you cost?" She squinted her eyes got off his lap and straightened her back before stretching her hands out.
She lightly yawned gazing into the streets, it felt like she was seeing a new highway after years of being in a slumberland.
Everything felt fresh and new, and this, was her new life, she would carefully choose her path to take.
"You can state the figure... Any amount, I will fulfill it..." Huo Shen was ready to give out cash, so long as he didn't get to hear anything to do with engagement or marriage.
