Chapter 214

I hate being in a hospital. I hate waking up to body aches and I hate not being able to move without the supervision of a health professional. I hate being connected to drips and taking several medications daily.
I hate perceiving the air here. I just hate being ill. There’s nothing fun about it. Aside from the well wishes and get well soon cards and gifts and actual food that’s not hospital food from friends, there’s nothing intriguing about being a patient. I can’t wait to get out of here. Especially when due to the raid, there was an implemented school vacation for a long period of time.
To not altar our education, some students may be transferred or we might have to rush our academic session when school finally resumes but we won’t have any information till further notice. Right now, the news still revolves around the chaos. What I don’t want is to be stuck here for so long that I miss enjoying the time away from school.
That would most definitely suck. I roll my eyes.
I’m the only one present in my room today. I’ve been here for two weeks and I’m still waiting for the day a doctor walks in and tells me I will be discharged.
I hear some chatter coming from outside my room. I’m in one of the best rooms in this fancy, private hospital and I’m pretty sure these walls are pretty thick so it’s a shocker to me that I can hear some chatter.
The chatter became louder. This is when I glance towards the door. The door is open. Emerging from it is Killian with a doctor. They seem to be having a serious discussion. The doctor keeps reviewing some files, which I know are patient files, in his hand while communicating with Killian.
I clear my throat. I’m passing through this freaking boredom that I know it would be nice to talk to someone even if it’s a doctor, but no, the person whose attention I want to get is Killian.
