Chapter 167
- KILLIAN -
I shut the door of the anti room, when I hear voices coming from inside. I can tell two people are communicating but I know not physically.
I walk to the living room. This is where I find Hazel sat in front of the tv, on a sofa, watching a show. The good thing is, the lights aren’t turned on and only the reflection of the tv illuminates the room, so the blood on my outfit is barely visible also coupled with the fact that I’m putting on a navy blue, long sleeve, body hug shirt and black pants. My coat is in my hand, and my leather gloves are in the pocket of my coat.
“It’s past bed time, you.” I say, folding my arms across my chest while standing behind the sofa she’s sat on. Hazel immediately turns. She drops the wine glass half full of a colourless liquid I assume to be water as no scent oozes out of it on the center table and walks to me.
“Oh Killian,” she purrs, keeping her voice husky. “I’ve missed you. The moment I noticed your side of the bed was empty, I couldn’t sleep.” She gets on her tip toes and leans up when she stands in front of me. Her hands twine around my neck, caressing down my torso and my arms. “Where have you been?” Hazel asks, resting her hands on my arms. Her tone is still low and husky. Her eyes rummage all over my body. Her touch calms my drunken mind.
“How long have you been up?” I ask, changing the subject of her question.
“Quite a while, I wasn’t counting.”
I raise my hand to cup her chin between two fingers. “This voice, stop it, it’ll get you pregnant.”
Hazel laughs at my comment. A sultry laugh. “I’d like to see you try.” She tempts, walking back while keeping her eyes on me, swaying her hips on purpose. She’s putting on a silk robe and from the way her bare shoulder perks out of it, I can tell she’s wearing nothing else underneath.
