The moment Allen and I stepped inside, we were slapped by sharp, insulting words thrown in the air. The rest of the team was already there—except for Claude.
If it wasn’t for Terrius’s presence turning the room into the North Pole, I would think we entered the wrong room.
Because there was no way my dear, innocent, little Etienne was hurling insults at someone.
"You know what? I am so effing done with you! You selfish, inconsiderate piece of shit! Do you ever stop and think about anyone but your damn self?!"
Woah. Etienne’s livid. The reason? Probably the pink-haired twink leaning at the window, gawking at Etienne.
"I’ve wasted my time believing your every fucking lie, but damn you, you don’t deserve even just a second of it! You should try acting like a damned decent human being for once in your blasted life!"
That was my first time hearing him curse at someone. My eyes widened in shock. I gave Lexie a puzzled look, but the lady just shrugged her shoulders.
Before I could even take a proper step forward, Etienne strode past me and Allen, and then walked out of the room without another glance. Both of us followed his stomping figure disappeared into the corner.
"What happened?" Allen asked while stepping forward. "Who made him angry?"
Dude, Allen, are you blind? Look around and you might see someone suppressing a goofy grin despite getting cursed at, completely unguilty and unbothered by Etienne’s outburst. Truly a selfish bastard.
I hugged myself as I walked in and closed the door. The cold temperature was leaking outside, and people might wonder why it was cold on such a bright sunny morning.
