"I have three hundred dollars here. Do you want it?"
Several girls said with disdain, looking at Kyle with contempt.
The waiter, growing impatient, said, "Sir, we do accept credit cards here."
Their credit cards were already maxed out from all the car rentals and ticket purchases. How the heck were they supposed to use them now?
"Um, can I borrow your credit card to swipe?" Kyle asked the girls, with a forced smile.
"I don’t have one!"
"Sorry, I’ve used up my credit limit."
The girls said, their expressions becoming increasingly unpleasant.
’Are you kidding me? We’re out here for a mixer, and they expect us to foot the bill? This has gotta be a joke!’
Kyle looked at Mya helplessly. "Mya, Kelsey, can you lend me some money first?"
