Chapter 1506 - 1505: Dilemma
Su Yunjin gently patted the infant’s back, the little bundle so tiny that she feared hurting the baby, daring not to use too much force. Gu Ya also wanted to hold the child, so after his little wife picked up their first-born son, Gu Ya went to hold their younger daughter, another little bundle. Holding the little one for the first time, Gu Ya was even more cautious than his wife.
It was quite comical in its awkwardness.
The little girl, who had been soundly asleep, suddenly didn’t like being held this way by her own father and burst into loud crying. As his daughter cried, Gu Ya immediately felt at a loss.
He clumsily tried to soothe the child.
"Shh, don’t cry, don’t cry, Daddy is here."
As Su Yunjin was feeding the child, she looked up at Gu Ya, who was cradling his daughter as if she were an object, which looked quite ridiculous. She shook her head, amused, "Husband, who holds a child like that?" Gu Ya’s stiff motions made the baby uncomfortable.
Of course, the little one had to cry.
"Yunjin, how should I hold her?" Gu Ya asked his little wife and, trying to imitate how she held their son, adjusted his arms: one supporting the daughter’s back and the other holding her body.
Seeing Gu Ya’s readjusted way of holding, Su Yunjin smiled and said, "Not bad, you’re improving." After Gu Ya’s adjustment, the baby in his arms seemed much more comfortable, and her cries diminished accordingly.
However, just as Gu Ya hadn’t quite managed to calm his daughter down, the son in Su Yunjin’s arms began to cry loudly. Su Yunjin hurriedly tried to soothe him, but the more she tried, the harder he cried, his little face turning red.
It was pitiful to see.
Her heart aching, Su Yunjin exclaimed, "Husband, what’s wrong? Why does he keep crying?"
It was also Gu Ya’s first time being a father.
