Chapter 1434: Unconcealed Gaze
Gu Ya had finished moving their belongings, leaving behind some items on the carriage bought for Mrs. An and Gu Chengxiang. Gu Ya intended to deliver the items from the carriage to Mrs. An’s place now. Walking into the house, he saw his young wife placing a sweet potato into the stove; her face, already flushed from the heat, indicated she had just entered.

"Yunjin, the items we bought for father and mother to keep warm are still in the carriage. I’ll go deliver them now," Gu Ya said, prompting Su Yunjin to stand up.
Looking outside at the snow, which seemed to be falling heavier than before, the snowflakes continuously descended, making the journey by carriage inconvenient. Therefore, Su Yunjin suggested,
"Husband, with the snow so heavy outside, why don’t you wait until it lightens to deliver the items to father and mother?" Su Yunjin took another look outside; the snow was too heavy and visibility was not good.
Gu Ya also looked outside, noticing that the current snowfall was indeed heavier than before. However, after a moment of silence, Gu Ya still insisted on delivering the items on the carriage to Mrs. An right away.
"Yunjin, I’ll drive over quickly and come back soon," insisted Gu Ya, and Su Yunjin no longer held him back, nodding her head, "Husband, please be careful."
After Gu Ya left, Su Yunjin did not idle around. With so many things they had just bought, she needed to sort them out. She spread out the quilts on the bed and hung all the clothes in the wardrobe. The clothes she was wearing were too thin, so she changed into one of the lighter and warmer outfits they bought today.
Casually, Su Yunjin picked a goose yellow dress to wear. Since becoming pregnant, this outfit made her appear even more gentle and tranquil, like a bright and playful clear stream, captivating and hard to take one’s eyes off of. She spun around in front of the room’s copper mirror; Gu Ya had not yet seen her in the clothes they bought today.
