Su Yunjin stepped out just in time to see Wang Meng returning after having consoled her second sister, Su Ningxiu. Su Ningxiu had been upset by their eldest brother, Su Muze, and had run out crying. It took Wang Meng quite a while to cheer Su Ningxiu up.

"Second sister, I’m coming with you to leave as well," Su Yunjin guessed that Su Ningxiu and Wang Meng had returned most likely to say their farewells, and thus she stated her intent to leave with her second sister.
Understanding her younger sister’s words, Su Ningxiu nodded, "Little sister, then let’s go back together." Su Ningxiu took Su Yunjin’s hand, and the two sisters waited outside for Wang Meng.
And let Wang Meng go in alone to take his leave.
Su Xiaofu sneaked back into the courtyard, unaware that someone was hiding in the date tree, nor that this person had been watching her for some time.
The man in black attire in the tree was a subordinate of Young Master Chu, assigned to protect Su Yunjin at all times. Ever since Su Yunjin had returned to the Su Family, the man in the tree had followed suit.
