Chapter 1346: Who is Knocking at the Door
Gu Ya had left.
He went to the old house.
Su Yunjin was home alone, and it was too early to go to bed in the evening. She couldn’t sleep. Having napped at noon today, she wasn’t tired now either.
It would be better just to wait for Gu Ya to return before sleeping.
Today, she had bought ingredients for making incense cakes in town. With Gu Ya away, it was the perfect opportunity for her to try making them. Could she succeed? Then, whenever she wished to bathe with these incense cakes, she could make them herself.
If she couldn’t succeed, it was no big deal. She could always try a few more times. Su Yunjin wasn’t afraid of failure. She had plenty of determination. When she first tried making fruit wine, hadn’t it taken several attempts to succeed? It was the same with incense cakes. She was not afraid of failure. If she didn’t succeed this time, then she would simply continue next time.
Lady Qin had given Su Yunjin a box full of incense cakes, enough for her to use until next year. These months in between would give Su Yunjin ample time to develop her own incense cakes.
Su Yunjin decided that as long as the incense cakes smelled nice and left the skin smooth and tender, they didn’t need to be exactly like the ones Lady Qin had given her.
A roughly similar outcome would suffice.
