Chapter 1335: The Woman by His Side
Madam Qin had given Yunjin some scented pastries and fragrant oils, which Yunjin had researched these few days out of boredom and roughly figured out what ingredients they were made of.
Having gotten used to bathing with the scented pastries sent by Madam Qin, and since there were none for sale in the market, although Madam Qin had given her these items several times, it wasn’t good to always expect gifts from her.
The only solution was to learn to make them herself. Once she had mastered the process, she could make them whenever she liked. Conveniently, her second elder sister also liked them, and once Yunjin learned, she could teach her too.
Knowing the ingredients needed for the scented pastries, Yunjin, upon arriving at Zuixiang Restaurant, intended to go shopping. However, Gu Ya was worried about his wife heading to the market with a large belly by herself and insisted on accompanying her. Yunjin felt indifferent about it; nothing would happen to her going out alone during broad daylight.
So she told Gu Ya not to follow.
"Husband, the brewery still has matters that require your attention, and you’re now the Shopkeeper of Zuixiang Restaurant. You should stay and take care of the brewery’s affairs. I can go shopping by myself."
Yunjin wanted Gu Ya to stay, but he always felt reassured only when he personally looked after his wife. He had originally planned to go shopping with her.
Unexpectedly caught up in the middle of something, Gu Ya had to return to Zuixiang Restaurant, leaving Yunjin to shop alone. Yunjin reassured Gu Ya, "Husband, you go ahead and tend to your matters. I’ll be back soon."
Gu Ya instructed his wife, "Yunjin, go early and come back early." Right as Yunjin was about to nod, she unexpectedly spotted two people coming out of a jewelry store nearby.
