Chapter 1331: Silence
Su Yunjin disliked drinking tea.
Gu Ya ordered a cup of tea.
Su Yunjin then asked for a cup of boiling water.
Su Ningxiu and Wang Meng, supporting each other, came over from the rain, still unaware that Su Yunjin and Gu Ya were at the tea house drinking tea. They thought Su Yunjin and the others were waiting in the carriage.
So, without raising their heads, they continued towards the direction of the carriage. Su Yunjin caught sight of Wang Meng and Su Ningxiu at once, her expression brightened, and she stood up from her seat.
"Husband, look, Second Sister and Brother-in-law are back," Su Yunjin said, pointing in the direction they were coming from. Following the direction Su Yunjin had indicated, Gu Ya also saw Wang Meng and Su Ningxiu getting closer.
Su Yunjin got up, intending to go to Su Ningxiu and Wang Meng, but seeing that it was still raining outside, Gu Ya quickly grabbed his young wife’s hand, "Yunjian, you sit here; I’ll go and call Second Sister and Brother-in-law over."
He stopped his young wife, and without waiting for her to agree, he stood and walked out of the tea house. Su Yunjin thought it over and felt it was all the same if Gu Ya invited her Second Sister and brother-in-law over, so she heeded Gu Ya’s words and continued sitting at her spot, not following him outside.
With Second Sister and Brother-in-law coming over, there were only the teas they had ordered on the table. Su Yunjin waved to summon the server and asked them to bring two more cups of freshly brewed hot tea.
Remembering that Second Sister liked jujube pastries, and that the tea house had them, Su Yunjin also ordered a plate of jujube pastries for Second Sister so she could enjoy them when she arrived.
