Chapter 1241: To Give or Not to Give
After a simple lunch,
Su Yunjin followed Gu Ya to the town. Gu Ya had completed most of the tasks, leaving only a small portion to be arranged by him.
Su Yunjin was just following along and observing. After a while, she noticed that everything Gu Ya had arranged was orderly and even more meticulously managed than she would have done herself.
With the shop opening arrangements well-handled by Gu Ya, Su Yunjin, standing aside without interjecting, simply watched. With few things left to do, Gu Ya swiftly finished arranging all the tasks.
The workers, following Gu Ya’s instructions, committed everything to memory. Gu Ya told them to go back and rest as there would be a busy day ahead, and they nodded before leaving.
Gu Ya then turned back to look at his petite wife.
"Yunjin, how do you feel? Aren’t you tired?" His little wife had been out with him for so long and had been standing the whole time without any rest. Seeing Yunjin clutching a belly bigger than a watermelon, Gu Ya was always concerned that she might be tired. Su Yunjin shook her head, "Husband, I’m fine."
How long had Su Yunjin been standing, after all? How could she be tired? Though Su Yunjin claimed not to be tired, Gu Ya still insisted that his little wife go aside to rest.
Bringing over a stool, Gu Ya told her to sit, "Yunjin, sit down and rest for a bit. I’ll go upstairs to check." Su Yunjin wasn’t tired.
But when Gu Ya asked her to sit, Su Yunjin didn’t.
