Gu Ya bowed his head and took a sip.

The green plum fruit wine tasted good, although it was slightly sour with a sweet aftertaste, such flavored wine was tasty but wouldn’t fetch a high price.

It wasn’t high-end.

But Yunjin didn’t mind, the shop required a variety of fruit wines, and this tasty but not high-end wine could be sold cheaply.

Having inexpensive fruit wines in the shop could attract more customers, and Yunjin was very satisfied with her brewed green plum wine; it was a success. The orange and grape wines also tasted pretty good and were edible. The only pity was that none of the wines had a rich and mellow taste of fine wine.

A wine needed to be rich and mellow to be considered premium, and these sweet wines didn’t make the cut.

The price they would sell for wouldn’t be too high.

They could only be priced at a standard rate.

Even though there were no premium wines, the addition of several other good-tasting fruit wines meant overall, there was a mix of gains and losses.

Yunjin followed Gu Ya’s suggestion to brew new types of fruit wine, which essentially meant increasing the variety and pricing tiers of the fruit wines.

Selling fruit wines at various prices meant that they could expand the customer base accordingly, and the fruits of this brewing session were certainly there.

Initially, it was just an experiment, so Yunjin didn’t brew much of the green plum or loquat wines, with only a few jars of each. Now that part of the experiment had succeeded, it was time to prepare and brew more, and by next month, these newly brewed fruit wines could be sold.

Yunjin imagined the business would certainly do even better with the addition of other varieties of fruit wines in the shop. Just then, Gu Ya suddenly stared at the wall of their backyard and shouted loudly.

“Who’s there?” Yunjin followed Gu Ya’s gaze but saw nothing; she looked back at Gu Ya out of instinct. “Husband, what’s the matter?”

Gu Ya didn’t explain to his wife. He immediately chased out from the shop, and Yunjin followed. Could it be that someone had been hiding on the wall, spying on them?

If that was indeed the case, Yunjin couldn’t help feeling secretly relieved, thankful that she and Gu Ya had only been tasting the fruit wine, not brewing it.

If they had been brewing wine in the backyard, then the person hiding on the wall might have seen their brewing methods, and wouldn’t their secrets be exposed?

Just the thought made Yunjin shudder with fear afterward.

If their fruit wine recipe were exposed, then the business she had would certainly be snatched away by others, and after that, her wines would not sell for as high a price as they did now.

Yunjin chased outside the shop, but Gu Ya had run far ahead, and she didn’t know where he had gone.
