Su Yunjin didn’t care about the expressions on the faces of Mrs. Zhang and Mrs. Han. After speaking, before the two could react, she pulled and dragged them toward the kitchen door.

Not letting those two affect her mood, Su Yunjin went back to the kitchen and said to Mrs. Chu, “Younger sister-in-law, I’ll go scoop out the winter melon soup. Can you call Big Brother Niu and Fifth Brother to come and eat?”
“Yes, third sister-in-law, I’ll go call Big Brother Niu and the others to come and eat right now!” Mrs. Chu nodded and as Su Yunjin added, “And yes, mother too, call her over so she can eat with us at noon.”
“I will call mother, third sister-in-law.” After Mrs. Chu left, Su Yunjin took two big bowls and ladled the winter melon soup from the pot. She set the soup on the table and arranged the bowls and chopsticks. Thinking of Gu Ya, Su Yunjin decided to take his food to him right then.
