Chapter 1135 - 011 Time flies, the promise of eighteen
Time passed swiftly, and before anyone realized it, Axel turned eighteen. He completed the national college entrance exam, but he didn’t fill out any college application preferences.
As Bryan put it, he just wanted his son to experience the atmosphere of the exam. It didn’t matter whether Axel did well or not, the experience was all that counted.
Bryan had already found a university for Axel in M Country, where he was to study. Since their family managed a company, and as Axel was the eldest son of the Hawkins Family, it was only natural for him to bear the burden of the family business.
The educational institutions in their country could meet his requirements, some certainly could, but Axel had a promise with Elena, so as a father, Bryan naturally wanted to fulfill the promise he made to his son.
Simon and Daisy returned to Kyoto only last year, and ultimately, he moved the headquarters of the Carrington Family company to Kyoto, also bringing Daisy’s parents and her big brother back to the city.
In Kyoto, Simon helped Samuel set up a large supermarket. Within a year, they established branches, and it became a chain of supermarkets.
The family’s life could certainly be considered happy and harmonious.
This past year, Elena and Liam remained in M Country and did not return. Stella also planned to go abroad with Axel after finishing her college entrance exam.
Throughout the years, she lived in her home country, with Violet by her side. When she was twelve, she began calling Violet ’Mother.’ That year, she fell ill with a fever and longed deeply for her parents, but they did not come.
She did not wait for Fiona or Simon, it was only Violet who stayed by her side. Later, when the fever subsided and she came back to her senses, she called Violet ’Mother’ for the first time.
Violet was deeply moved at that moment; she felt that Stella was still a good child.
