Chapter 1080 - 001 Don’t delude yourself into clinging to my dad_3
"..." Daisy Willow naturally understood that this was Stella Carrington’s doing on purpose. Although they were now in G City, everything in that house had been arranged by Simon, and nothing was lacking. Moreover, she didn’t believe that Stella actually needed to eat the food she made. During the initial time in M Country, she refused to eat anything Daisy prepared. She’d rather have bread and milk every day than the Chinese food Daisy cooked, showing just how much she rejected her.
However, Daisy had always thought her patience could change Stella’s view of her. Now it seemed that it was indeed going to take time, and quite a long time, at that.
"Auntie, just come over. The temporary caretaker dad found this time is horrible at cooking, and even Liam can’t eat it. Dad said he would buy us congee and steamed buns, but I want to eat something from outside. Come and cook for us, will you?" Stella began to wheedle and act cute again on the other end.
"Alright, wait for me with Liam. I’ll be there soon." In the end, Daisy Willow gave in, even though she was truly very tired.
"Okay, we’ll wait for you." Stella said with a smile as she hung up the phone.
Daisy got out of bed, washed up without even taking a sip of water, grabbed her bag, and prepared to leave. Her mother had woken up early and was just about done making breakfast when she saw Daisy getting up early and looking like she was about to head out.
"Felicia, where are you going so early?" Elena hadn’t woken up yet, and Daisy had gone to bed so late last night.
"Oh, Mom, I’m just stepping out for a bit, I’ll be back soon." Daisy Willow didn’t directly say she was planning to cook for Stella and the others. In fact, Simon had given her a few days off recently.
When Simon had bought the house here, it had surprised him for a moment. He had simply explained that sometimes he would come here for a short stay or to handle some business, as he didn’t like staying in hotels.
"Ah..." Her mother still wanted to ask something, but Daisy had already opened the door and left.
