Chapter 966 - 013 Let’s Collaborate (Second Update)
Bernard Taylor queued up dutifully at the back. After Avery Graham finished serving the person in front, she finally noticed him standing at the end of the line. When they faced each other, both of them smiled with pursed lips.
Seeing Avery laugh, and the look on Giselle Browman’s face beside her, he understood already; Giselle Browman had told Avery everything.
Actually, it didn’t matter. He’d thought about it, and since Avery knew the whole story and hadn’t taken the initiative to call him these past days, she probably didn’t care about it at all.
As for the cooperation between the Taylor Family and Michael Auclair, it was indeed in progress, after all, they’d signed a contract. However, the person in charge of this project wasn’t him but a different branch of the Taylor Family. He was willing to do the project for Michael Auclair, but he didn’t want to see the man every day.
"Andrew Victor, come here, take over for a bit." Seeing that neither had spoken, and there was still a long line behind Bernard Taylor, Giselle Browman quickly called over a shop assistant to free up Avery’s position.
"Come inside," Avery said to Bernard Taylor, who nodded in agreement; he had not come for the budget-friendly bread after all.
His reason for queuing and moving forward was mainly to make Avery notice him.
"Business seems to be going very well." After Bernard Taylor sat down, Avery voluntarily poured him a cup of coffee. Sipping his coffee, he watched a continuous stream of customers outside the shop.
"Yeah, I didn’t expect it to be this booming today. Many customers said they had waited for our doors to open until the flowers had wilted," Avery said cheerfully. If it was like this every day, she’d be much closer to her dream.
"Good reputation," Bernard Taylor nodded. "Bring me two pieces of bread that are not too sweet, and one sandwich, please."
