"She got cancer," the woman shook her head as she spoke. "I found out last month when I was traveling in Kyoto. A former classmate of mine told me, and then I went to visit her at the Hospital. She’s changed so much; she’s so young, yet her figure is all skin and bones." That’s why being a bit more robust is better. It doesn’t matter if it’s a beautiful woman or an ugly one; a sick woman is the worst to look at.
After all, it’s better to be healthy.
"Got cancer? How could that happen? Which Hospital is she at?" Ellie Wilton could hardly believe it. Vanessa Taylor was such a cheerful person; it was hard to imagine that she could be stricken with cancer.
"I can’t quite remember. I don’t know much about it. The hospital is some private one, I think it’s called Peacen Hospital or something?" The woman tilted her head, thinking hard, but that was all she could remember.
When she had visited Vanessa Taylor, it was out of nostalgia for their school days. Her relationship with Vanessa Taylor was not actually very close, and her impression of her couldn’t compare to Ellie Wilton’s.
"Thank you. When I return to Kyoto, I’ll have someone look into it for me," Ellie Wilton nodded in gratitude. "But do tell me your name, maybe I’ll remember you?"
"It’s really not that great of a name; maybe I shouldn’t say it?" The woman blushed, not really wanting to mention her own name.
