At eight o’clock the next day, Celia Wade woke up early and helped prepare breakfast. Jordy Wade had woken up too and was on the balcony outside the living room, watching the rising sun.
After a night, he had come to terms with his current situation, amnesia. He had forgotten everything about his past, but he vividly remembered the woman who had once abandoned him.
He didn’t hate her, but he wanted to find her because he believed that finding her might help him recover his lost memories.
He wanted to regain his past memories, especially those with Celia. This girl mysteriously made him feel that she held an important place in his life. But why could he forget even her?
Jordy was lost in his thoughts. He didn’t notice when Celia had walked up behind him. He used to have sharp senses but perhaps after being bedridden for so long, his bodily functions had degraded somewhat.
"What are you thinking about? Don’t worry. It’s just a routine medical check-up. Whatever the issue, we’ll face it together." Celia thought he was worried about the impending examination and tried to comfort him.
"Relax, I’m not worried about the check-up," Jordy told her. Just as Celia was about to turn away, Jordy spoke again. "I mean, did you always call me Big Brother? And me? What did I call you?"
It wouldn’t be natural for them not to greet each other upon meeting now, would it?
