The death she thought would occur might have been from an infectious disease, but this sudden riot was completely unexpected.
"Yeah, that’s alright, I understand. You go about your work." Bryan Hawkins showed understanding.
"Alright then, I’m rather busy, so I won’t say more. Could you let Carol Ruiz know, I will apologize to her next time when I call ." Phoebe Miller ended the call.
Bryan even didn’t get a chance to ask her if there was a Charlotte Clark in the list of the dead.
He felt no guilt about Charlotte Clark’s death, because it was an accident. An unplanned, yet unfortunately real accident. It could only be said that it was everyone’s fate.
"There was a riot out there. It’s unrelated to medical accidents." After hanging up, Bryan explained to Carol.
"Even so, we were the ones who sent her there and made her experience such an accident." Carol still felt somewhat guilty. After all, Bryan had originally sent Charlotte to Africa due to the offense she caused.

"Don’t think like that. No one expected this. My original intention was good, for her to mature after a year and then come back to a bright future, but she just wasn’t fortunate enough for it." Bryan took Carol’s hand, comforting her. On the eve of their wedding, facing such an event really bummed them out.
"Can you find a way to contact Gavin Campbell? I want to know if he’s okay." Charlotte had already died, and this couldn’t be overturned. Now, Carol wanted to ensure Gavin’s safety.
