"Okay, I’ll give the fun doll to big sister and share the tasty food with little brother." Elena nodded happily.
"Alright, let’s go. Be careful on the way with your mom. Hold mom’s hand tight, okay?" Simon Carrington reminded her, feeling a great sense of reluctance in his heart, reluctant to part with Elena.
He only gave Elena a gift, and she became so dependent on him. This just showed how negligent Cole Duncan, her father, had been in his parenting.
"Hold on." Fiona Adams suddenly appeared, stopping Daisy Willow and Elena who were ready to leave. She jogged over and held a big stuffed bear in her hands. "Elena, this is a gift for you. Do you like it?"
"Yes, thank you Auntie Fiona." Elena smiled sweetly.
"Thank you, Mrs. Carrington, for your generosity." Daisy Willow also thanked her, knowing that the prices of things bought at the airport wouldn’t be cheap at all.
"It’s no problem." Fiona Adams smiled at Daisy Willow, "Miss Willow, can I have a word with you?"
"Fiona—" Simon Carrington wanted to stop her, as he could guess what Fiona Adams wanted to say to Daisy Willow. He didn’t want her to interfere in his matters, especially since she had already decided to leave, so he didn’t need her help to find a good place to live afterwards.
Daisy Willow stared at the weird expression on Simon Carrington’s face for a while, not understanding why he was so angry.
Fiona Adams wasn’t afraid of him at all—even if he was warning her, she didn’t need to take him seriously because she didn’t care, so she didn’t need to be afraid.
