From their perspective, she understood their distraction, but from the patients’ perspective, their illnesses couldn’t worsen because of the nurses’ distraction. This was irresponsible.
As medical staff, if they didn’t have a sense of responsibility, they shouldn’t be doctors or nurses and should choose other jobs where they could vent their emotions and dissatisfaction.
She thought that there was probably no such job, and even if there was, it was not something ordinary people like them could enjoy.
