"...Yes, good girl." Bryan Hawkins was on cloud nine upon hearing Carolline Ruiz’s confession of love. He leaned down to give her another passionate kiss, not stopping until Henry Ruiz called them for dinner.
"Are you really on night shift tonight?" Bryan missed Celia dearly when she wasn’t around, his body felt like it was on fire.
"Yes, my schedule was adjusted the day before yesterday. I didn’t tell you in advance because there have been some issues at home and they’ve caused a delay. Other colleagues cover her shifts, but there’s no one for tonight’s shift. As head nurse, I naturally have to cover it," Celia explained. After the night shift, she would have the next day off.
"Oh," Bryan responded, feeling a bit disappointed. Knowing that Carolline wasn’t just saying this to appease him, he accepted it.
