"What did you say?" Cole’s mother couldn’t believe that Daisy Willow dared to talk back to her. Unable to hold back, she raised her arm to slap Daisy Willow, assuming this was still the Duncan family home where she was still the high and mighty mother-in-law, and Daisy Willow just a despised daughter-in-law.
