Of course, that was someone else’s lifestyle, and everyone had different values. Maybe they worked hard to earn their money, and there was no reason not to enjoy the fruits of their labor. She wouldn’t judge them, but she personally couldn’t accept such excessive consumption.
"Don’t worry, if you feel sorry for someone and it bothers you, we’ll donate more tonight." Bryan Hawkins held her little hand, "We’ll donate, but we will still have money left to buy my wife shoes. We still need to have our basic needs met."
He genuinely felt that the pair of shoes matched well with Carolline Ruiz’s feet. No matter how little or how expensive they were, as long as it was within his means, he would buy them for his wife.

Carolline was never a shopping expert, so an hour later, her feet began to hurt. They went to a café to rest and ordered some drinks, staying there for quite some time.
Bryan checked the time again – it was already two-thirty. The charity banquet started at seven, so it was just about enough time for them to get styled, buy an evening gown and have something to eat.
So they paid the bill and left, Carolline thought they were going home. She only realized they weren’t when Bryan brought her into a styling salon, which made her ask surprised, "Why are we here?"
