"No need, Miss Rice, I’ll take care of the cleaning, no need to call for an hourly worker." Daisy Willow said with a warm smile.
"Don’t call me Miss Rice, my name is Celia Wade, just call me Celia like Carolline. Are you sure you can handle it? I don’t want to trouble you, especially since you just arrived. I would feel really embarrassed." Celia truly felt embarrassed, thinking it would be better to hire an hourly worker and pay them rather than relying on her friends.
"No, it’s not a problem, I’ll cook, and you guys can just sit in the living room. It won’t take too long." Daisy Willow nodding with assurance, then said to Elena, "Elena, call me Auntie."
"Oh, such a cute little Elena, classmates with Axel, huh? Just like Axel, you can call me Auntie Celia." Celia squatted down, reaching out her hand, shaking hands with Elena.
"Auntie Celia––" Elena wasn’t shy, since Celia was so warm and welcoming; she liked her, especially since Axel already knew her.
"Oh, so well-behaved, Auntie is so silly making your mom work so hard as soon as you arrive. How about this, you can come play with me, and I have many teddy bears and other toys in my room. We won’t bother your mom and Aunt Carolline, alright?"
"Okay." Elena obediently nodded and went into the room with Celia.
Carolline shook her head and first moved Daisy and Elena’s things into the room, then put on an apron and joined Daisy in the kitchen.
"Carolline, I can do it alone. You should go rest a bit." Daisy felt she could handle it by herself, and moreover, making them a hot pot dinner would relieve her guilt.
"Doing all this alone would take too long, it’s okay. I’ll help, even if it’s just being an assistant." Carolline shook her head. She knew that Celia loved children, so she felt reassured to entrust Elena to her.
