Seeing the thin piece of paper inside the red envelope, both Bonnie Jenkins and Natalie Parton’s eyes lit up as they realized it was a check. The abundance of zeroes made the two money-loving women nod their heads in satisfaction.
"Thank you, Carolline. Your husband is really something! No wonder he’s G City’s richest man." Natalie couldn’t help but gush with excitement.
By comparison, Bonnie’s reaction was much more composed. Despite her inner delight, she didn’t say anything. Sometimes silence is golden, after all. From now on, she wouldn’t pick on Carolline’s family anymore. Plus, she didn’t have the ability to do so either way.

As for gifts for his peers, Bryan Hawkins prepared cards for all of them.
Raymond Ruiz received a five-year VIP card for his favorite gym. Upon receiving the card, he thanked Bryan repeatedly.
Five years—that would save him a considerable amount of money.
Felix Ruiz got a card from his favorite coffee shop, which would cover his coffee for almost ten years. As his brother-in-law, Bryan had paid for his second brother’s caffeine fix ahead of time, as long as the coffee shop didn’t go out of business.
Of course, the coffee shop Felix liked must’ve been very well-established.
