She didn’t look too much into it, took out her phone, Axel and the others were already home, Axel had finished taking a shower and was getting ready to go to bed. Before going to bed, he sent her a Whatsapp message, implying that she shouldn’t be mad at his dad anymore, and that he was waiting for his dad to take them both home.
Having seen the Whatsapp message, Carolline replied with one line telling Axel to sleep early, followed by a simple goodnight before ending the conversation.
Right around that time, Bryan Cooper’s phone started ringing as well. It must have been urgent since it kept ringing continuously. Bryan, however, showed no intention of coming out to answer it. Impatient at the incessant ringing, Bryan came out, "Carolline, can you answer the call for me? I’m grinding coffee beans."
Having said that, Bryan turned around and disappeared back into the kitchen, as if he was really busy.
