Secret Wealthy Marriage

Today was Carolline Ruiz’s day off. She had come over in the morning after buying groceries and receiving a call from Henry Ruiz asking her to deliver a book. Then, she saw a patient who needed help, so she accompanied them upstairs and helped them get their medication. With everything settled, she headed downstairs to prepare lunch at home. She walked through the small iron gate into the Family Area, where Bryan Hawkins stood upright in the doorway of their apartment building. He did not approach her but waited for her to come closer.

Carolline took a deep breath before slowly moving towards him. Stopping at his right front, she asked, "Why are you here again?"

"I’m here to confirm our appointment the day after tomorrow." Bryan knew Carolline’s day off was coming up, and he didn’t want anyone else to take advantage of her free time, even if it was another woman.

"The day after tomorrow? I’m busy this week..." Carolline furrowed her brow. She remembered telling him clearly last night that she was busy this week. However, when she looked up at him, she noticed his nose seemed swollen. Had he been in a fight?

Andy Aguirre punched me in the nose, and it bled. I stopped the bleeding at your Outpatient clinic, and I overheard your conversation with your colleague about your day off the day after tomorrow." Bryan showed no emotion, as he was determined to get Carolline to agree. If she didn’t, he would pester her until she did.

"Well... you heard that my colleague invited me to go shopping. I..." Carolline wanted to argue but thought to herself, was he persistent or just shameless?

Could Andy, such a well-mannered person, really punch him hard enough to make his nose bleed? Could Andy even win in a fight against him?
