In the three years of marriage, some couples’ feelings fade day by day, but not them. Their love grew stronger every day. Sometimes, Andy Aguirre would go to an academic conference for a week, and Megan Clifton would stay at home. She couldn’t bear being alone for three days and would find various excuses to take leave, even if it meant losing her bonus.
What did she do during her leave? Of course, she went to find her husband.
"It’s up to you. I just think that having a child early on is beneficial for women’s recovery. Look at the older women now who rely on freezing their eggs to have a child. Do you think they are willing to suffer so much for a child? They have no choice." Carolline Ruiz finished speaking and didn’t want to discuss it further. She had to go pick up Axel from school.
"Stupid Carolline, you’re the older woman!" Megan finally came to her senses and retorted, "You’re the one who’s getting older." This naughty girl had learned to mock her in disguise.
"Yeah, I have a child who is almost six years old. It’s normal to be getting older." Carolline changed her clothes, came out of the room, and replied with an unconcerned laugh.
"You just wait. When the time comes, I’ll have twins and we’ll see who’s bragging then," Megan pouted. When other people talked to her about having children, she was usually very opposed, even when her own parents brought it up. She would be very upset and sometimes even leave without finishing her meal. Only in front of Carolline could she mention it without getting angry and fantasized about having twins.
"Well, I’m waiting." Carolline nodded indifferently.
