"Mm." Carolline Ruiz nodded.
"As long as he treats you well, that’s good enough. After getting married, do you intend to end our relationship to please your husband’s family?" Mrs. Hawkins thought of her previous rejection. She had not quite understood the reason then, but now it all makes sense.
"No, I will come to visit you whenever I get time, Grandma Hawkins." Carolline Ruiz suddenly ran to Mrs. Hawkins, hugged her arm, and spoke somewhat affectionately.
"Mmm, that’s good, that’s good. I just feared that after your marriage, your husband’s family won’t let you associate with us." Mrs. Hawkins happily embraced Carolline Ruiz. "How many months in is the baby in your belly?"
"Almost six months." Carolline Ruiz downplayed it by a month.
"Mm, not too many months left then. Let Grandma Hawkins visit you and your baby when you give birth."
"Okay." At this moment, Carolline Ruiz did not refuse.
In the end, Sophia Lawson went to the mall and bought many nutritional supplements and host of things that Carolline Ruiz could use after childbirth. Unable to refuse, Carolline Ruiz ended up bringing them all home.
