Throughout the entire pregnancy, Carolline had never been woken up by her baby’s kicks. After finishing her milk, she went straight to her room to sleep, as it was already past her bedtime. If she delayed any further, her baby would surely start protesting.
The next day, as soon as Carolline opened her eyes, she received a call from Grandma Hawkins. Instead of asking her to come see her right away, Grandma Hawkins told Carolline to rest at home. Carolline could come see her when she had some free time, or Grandma Hawkins would come visit her.
At that moment, Carolline realized her current situation was not suitable for meeting Grandma Hawkins. Grandma Hawkins had always been fond of her and constantly wanted to matchmake her with Bryan Hawkins. However, now even Carolline didn’t know where he was.

Emily Hill and Henry Ruiz had the same thought. This was also the reason why Emily Hill had talked to Andy Aguirre alone. Although the possibility of those two being together was now impossible, Andy could still help Carolline when needed.
Emily knew that Andy liked Carolline unconditionally, and she and her husband also liked Andy. If Carolline had put a little bit of effort into her relationship with Andy, their affairs could have worked out.
