She felt nauseous and uncomfortable in her stomach.
Andy quickly noticed her discomfort, "What’s wrong? Feeling carsick?"
"No." Carolline responded in a low voice, she was just feeling uneasy seeing such a scary injury.
Elderly people used to say that pregnant women should avoid violent, bloody, or terrifying things, and she thought that must be the reason for her discomfort.
She didn’t want to throw up, as she did when she was carsick as a child. At this moment, she just felt a strong pressure in her chest and discomfort in her stomach.
"You should go rest over there." Andy said directly, guessing that it was probably her first time seeing someone with such a deep wound. The injury was so severe that even the bone could be seen.
"Okay." Carolline didn’t refuse and moved to another spot, opening a small crack in the window and looking out while enjoying the breeze.
As soon as the van got on the highway, it sped towards Rosh City Hospital. Upon arrival, Andy helped the patient’s family to carry the patient down. Carolline also wanted to help, but Andy stopped her.
Soon, Andy communicated with the reception of the City Hospital. When they heard he was Dr. Andy from People Hospital in G City, they invited him to join the surgery as he understood the patient’s condition best.
Andy couldn’t refuse, so he told Carolline about it, and she insisted on staying as well. After all, the van driver planned to wait for them in Rosh City, as it was their first time visiting the city from their village.
