"Study hard, the teacher believes you can be admitted to the best college in the future." Teacher Jervis expressed his high hopes.
"Teacher, I will study hard." Cherish Turner said softly.
"Knock, knock, knock— " A man knocked on the door and entered, putting the list in his hand on the desk, "Teacher Jervis, this is a survey form, asking if the students want to purchase the history book. If they do, sign your name in the purchasing column. If they don’t, sign your name as well, so that the parents can be assured."
"I’ll give it to you before school is out."
"Teacher Jervis, this survey form is rather urgent..." Before the man could finish his words, Teacher Jervis answered another call, too busy to handle it all. After a brief conversation, she put the phone aside and handed the survey form to Cherish Turner, smiling, "Cherish Turner, could you please take this survey to the first class of the third grade for me and bring it back to me after the students have signed it? Is that alright?"
"Yes." Cherish Turner nodded seriously, taking the survey form with both hands.
The teaching building of the third grade was quite far away, and she had to go around the playground and basketball court to reach it.
Recess time was about to end, and the students returned to their classrooms, waiting for class to begin. A small figure dashed out, heading towards the third teaching building.
Cherish Turner was small in size, and so were her steps. She ran for a long time before reaching the teaching building.
