Chapter 604 - 592: Don’t Want Him To Be In Trouble_4
Meanwhile, outside the firm’s building, the bald man was hiding perfectly behind a pillar, watching her, and reporting to the person on the phone, "Miss Turner still refuses to leave!"
"You go find Mr. Winston right away, and tell him that President Griffith said to..."
"I got it!" The bald man replied, hung up the phone, and turned to leave.
In the United States, a high-end entertainment club is open all day and night, and it usually attracts wealthy people. The air was filled with the smell of cigars, strong alcohol, and beautiful ladies in traditional qipao dresses. Stepping into the club, one couldn’t help but feel as if they were transported back to the Republican period, with songs and dances.
The bald man followed another man upstairs and knocked on the door of the private room.
As the door opened, there stood a billiards table that was more than three meters long and nearly two meters wide.
A woman in a black leather skirt with a curvy figure leaned over the table with a cue in her hands, aiming at a ball. The cue stick slid back and forth, finding the perfect angle, and then she struck the ball fiercely. But the sudden knocking sound made her hand tremble, missing some of the strength needed, and the ball deviated from its path, rolling towards the hole’s edge without going in.
"What a bummer!" The woman muttered with a frown, turning to walk towards a black-haired man sitting on the sofa, toying with a wine glass. "I missed the shot!"
"You leave first, and I’ll make up for you later!" The man said with a slight smile, casually planting a kiss on the woman’s cheek with an air of nonchalant elegance. His tousled hair cascades down, flaunting a wild and charming demeanor, as his sharp, chiseled side profile emits an unforced and powerful authority coupled with a strong sense of oppression.
The woman obediently left, brushing past the two men entering the private room.
Oscar Winston didn’t look up, and asked with interest, "So, what’s the matter?"
