Chapter 569 - 568: Going to Japan
In the unfamiliar suite, Cherish Turner would always wake up early. As she turned her head, she saw him sleeping beside her, his handsome face childishly innocent, with furrowed brows. She had always admitted that this man must have been favored by God to look this good. But suddenly it occurred to her that they seemed to have never taken a photo together.
As William’s brows furrowed in his sleep, Cherish was startled and quickly fled into the bathroom. When she finished washing and opened the glass door, she saw him leaning against the doorway, bare-chested and gazing at her. He walked towards her, playfully embracing her, and reentered the bathroom, "Why didn’t you wake me up?"
"I couldn’t bear to wake you when you were sleeping so soundly," Cherish whispered, squeezing toothpaste for him and pouring water into a glass.
However, William was slightly taken aback, finding the statement oddly familiar.
"Brush your teeth." She handed the toothbrush and the glass to him, and William took them with a muted response.
They had breakfast at the hotel restaurant before going for a walk in a bustling market nearby. Cherish could only speak a few simple Japanese phrases, whereas William was multilingual, fluent in English, French, and Japanese. The variety of small shops was dazzling, especially those cute little trinkets, with the Hello Kitty keychains being Cherish’s favorite.
Cherish purposely picked a pink and a blue Kitty, one for herself and one for him. However, he was more than reluctant to take it, bluntly replying, "That’s for you girls to like."
Cherish thought about it and agreed that it would look odd for him, a grown man, to carry such a trinket.
There was a photo booth up ahead, with a few girls waiting in line.
"William, can we go take pictures too?" Cherish asked, holding his hand.
