Chapter 504 - 503: His Presence Disturbs Her
After a round, the four of them went to the umbrella chairs in the rest area to have some drinks.
"Young Master Griffith plays well. You should practice with him more often when you have time. Maybe you’ll become a professional someday!" Lincoln Wood said, seeing the unwillingness on his daughter Sophia Wood’s face and patting her shoulder.
Sophia, who had a strong interest in golf, turned to him and asked, "Mr. Young Master Griffith, are you free tomorrow?"
William Griffith took a few sips of mineral water and bluntly refused, "No."
Sophia felt stifled, as no one had ever rejected her in her entire life!
Lincoln Wood naturally felt displeased when his daughter was unhappy.
When Cherish Turner returned from the restroom, she sensed that the atmosphere was a bit off. She gave a polite smile and then quietly sat to the side without speaking any more. Seeing that Sophia was angry because of the rejection, she got up, grabbed a golf club, and went to the practice field to swing at balls.
"Do you know how to play golf?" William Griffith suddenly approached her and asked in a deep voice.
"No," Cherish answered honestly, looking at him.
William raised the corner of his lips, smiling charmingly. He grabbed her hand and said, "Let me teach you."
Cherish was startled, but he pulled her up and led her to the practice field. They were one spot away from Sophia. William stood behind her, close to her body, teaching her how to hit the ball with his hands on hers. He reminded her, "Focus."
His breath surrounded her, making it impossible for her to concentrate.
