Chapter 486 - 487: Fiancé
As the holiday ended and Cherish Turner returned from Paris, France to Seaport City, she was still lost in her thoughts. Carrying her luggage into the building while turning her phone back on, an incoming message flashed on her screen. It was from Yannis Griffith. Only then she remembered that she hadn’t informed him about her trip. But the content of the message made her nearly drop her phone in shock.
The message read - "Brother has returned to the United States."
"Miss Turner! You’re back!" The security guard uncle hurriedly called out to her, "Mr. Griffith asked me to give this to you!"
Cherish Turner was still in a daze, her mind blank. It appeared that Mr. Griffith must be William Griffith, but what did he want to give her?
The security guard ran into the office to retrieve something. Cherish opened the package, inside was a key. It was the key to his apartment in Cherry Blossom Garden.
Rushing upstairs with the key, her heart was imbued with indescribable emotions. Unlocking the door, hot tears started trickling down from her eyes. Everything in the apartment was gone, emptiness engulfing the place as if nobody had ever lived there before.
The emotions she had been suppressing all along overpowered her. Looking around at the completely vacated surroundings, her eyes turned red, her lips tightly pursed together, yet tears welled up in her eyes.
Unable to bear the overwhelming sadness any longer, she broke down crying like a child in the emptied apartment.
Cherish had found out from Grace Harper that Hailey had returned to Australia, yet she was unsure when she would be back. On top of that, Chloe Turner had also left, so had William Griffith.
