Chapter 469 - 470: Save Some Energy
As soon as the door closed, Yannis Griffith snapped, "What the hell is going on with you?"
"What?" William Griffith slowly raised his head to look at him, speaking indifferently.
Seeing William’s continued calmness, the pent-up frustration in Yannis’ chest couldn’t dissipate. He stood in front of him and demanded, "Why did you two break up!"
Hearing those two words, a crack momentarily appeared on William’s usually indifferent handsome face. It was fleeting and impossible to capture. His hawk-like eyes were as dark as ink. Then he curled his lips into a smile, and with an uncommonly casual tone, he said in a deep voice, "It’s my business, not something you should be meddling in. Take care of matters concerning Grace Harper, everything else is none of your concern."
"William Griffith! I don’t care whether you truly hated women before or how Lewis came to be, and I don’t care if you choose to be with Chloe Turner now! Since you’ve caused Cherish to be upset, from now on, I’ll be the one to take care of things concerning Cherish Turner, you won’t be involved with her anymore!" Yannis Griffith said his name harshly, "Starting from this moment, I will pursue her! Until she agrees to be with me!"
However, William Griffith merely shook his head, sneering, "Save it, you’re wasting your energy."
Yannis Griffith was instantly confused, not understanding what he meant.
However, William Griffith lit a cigarette and lazily spat out three words, "Handling Grace Harper alone is already giving you a headache, let alone the Griffith Family matters."
Yannis Griffith could only feel his blood rise in anger. He balled his fists and left in a huff.
A shrill phone ring interrupted the silence. It was a direct call. William Griffith answered it, hearing Thomas Harrison quietly report, "President Griffith, Mr. Chip’s assistant just called. The contract will be signed at two o’clock this afternoon. Mr. Chip also hopes that Demon Manga Club will be fully responsible for future project assessments."
