Look at how little you care about me, but I’m so happy because now I have the same blood as Auntie Cherish! Our relationship is much closer than yours!"
Lewis felt a sense of connection with Cherish Turner, as if they were intertwined with each other. This must be a much deeper relationship than the one with his dad!
Upon hearing Lewis’s words, William Griffith’s face darkened.
Cherish Turner must have found out about her and Lewis having the same Rh blood group system.
Would she read too much into it?
She returned the ring to him, apparently thinking of something else.

They had just agreed to have dinner together, but in the next second, she said she had something to do, which made Chloe Turner worried. As soon as she stepped out of the office and closed the door, she saw a glimpse of his momentarily lost and handsome face.
Chloe Turner walked towards the hallway with a sense of confusion and waited there for the elevator.
The elevator slowly approached.
As Chloe looked up, she saw Grace Harper standing inside the elevator when the doors opened. Next to her was an assistant. Chloe couldn’t say anything to Grace Harper, so she just pretended not to be familiar with her and gave her a nod.
Grace Harper stood in the elevator with her gaze brushing past the floor numbers on the display. She looked calmly at Chloe Turner outside the elevator and asked, "Miss Turner, I wonder if you have some time."
