[The present Royal City teemed with wandering, mutated monsters, becoming a paradise for the Fallen Ones.]

[Among the monsters were not only humans but also many large subspecies of the Dragon Clan, their bodies crimson and rotten, scales mottled and flaking, mutations grotesquely twisting their limbs.]

[The judge faithful to the Profane Blood Sun—Sin Dragon Dagun, though he had already sacrificed himself, his corpse still radiated the afterglow and warmth like the setting sun about to dip below the horizon.]

[King’s Sword Ethan, showing his Fallen Divine Power, used the blood of Sin Dragon Dagun to mutate many from the Dragon Clan into loyal mounts for the Fallen Ones, to serve the great Blood Sun unto death...]

[The Blood Sun Cathedral stood at the heart of Royal City, where the Fallen Ones wandered, looking up at the Blood Sun and prostrating in worship when they roamed near the cathedral.]

[Constructed of ochre-hued megaliths, the cathedral was stout and solid, with pointed arches and windows artfully arranged, inset with crimson glass; even when the night fell and the moonlight shone in, the interior would display the mottled colors of a sea of fresh blood.]

[A black meteor tore through the crimson sky, plummeting straight toward the Blood Sun Cathedral within Royal City...]
