Saving the World in an Apocalypse-Style Text Game

[This is an epic era brimming with heroes!]

[The Stars, those malevolent gods, have egregiously invaded our beautiful homeland. Countless polymaths stand alongside the great ’Almighty True Knowledge’ to resist our enemies from the stars.]

[The scholars, armed with their knowledge, are fighting on the frontline against the Stars, becoming immortal heroes worthy of being recorded in history.]

[Since childhood, I have aspired to become a polymath, fighting alongside the True God to protect my homeland. What an immense honor it would be if I, too, could be remembered in history like those great heroes!]

[Under the expectations of my parents, I joined the War Academy and worked hard to acquire knowledge.]

[In order to become a hero, my efforts are countless times that of ordinary people. It is my rock-solid belief that keeps me learning knowledge through sleepless nights and times of exhaustion and hunger.]

[But things are unpredictable... Great ’Almighty True Knowledge’, please forgive my dullness. Despite my efforts, I am still behind my peers.]

[The tutor from the academy advised me that not everyone can be graced with knowledge. I should give up my studies and contribute my faith to the True God elsewhere... The war defending our homeland lacks more than scholars fighting on the frontline.]

[The tutor helped me get in touch with the Logistics College and hoped that I could give up my limited spot at the War Academy for other talented young people.]

[Reason told me that I should heed the tutor’s advice... but I couldn’t accept that!]
